Anna Lindh designs and produces high quality wedding gown collections. Our collections are built on the principle of sustainable design. We use exclusively high-quality fabrics, creating gowns that are meant to withstand the test of time. Our main fabrics are high-quality silks, which we complement with finest laces and handmade sequin fabrics. A viscose blend and recycled fabric are also an options. Most our dresses are dyeable, what means, that after the wedding wedding dress can be used as an evening or cocktail dress.
Our most important values lie with ecology and sustainable development, which we consider in every step of our production processes. All Anna Lindh gowns are designed, and handmade in Finland.
Unique Collection
Story behind
As the name implies, Unique Collection emphasizes individuality. Each of us would like to be seen as who we really are. On the wedding day, the bride is under everyone's eyes and then if ever it is important that the dress fits perfectly, as this gives confidence. This collection was created specifically to emphasize individuality and each piece in the collection is unique.
How is this implemented? Every time a dress is made, some small detail is changed, and all products are numbered and signed. This way you can be sure that no one else in the world will walk down the aisle in a similar dress. What are the unique details then? For instance, the direction or quantity of the pleat is specified to make the dress unique. The dress can also be made sleeveless or with sleeves just as requested. These unique details do not increase the price, they are included in the price. The goal of the collection is to create your own unique dress.
The dresses in the collection are made of stunning carefully selected silks. A viscose blend and recycled fabric are also an options. These fabrics can be perfectly dyed, so you can get an evening dress or a festive dress from the dress after the wedding day by dyeing. Some of the dresses also have very high-quality handmade sequin fabric added. The entire collection has been designed in Finland and every single piece of this collection is handmade in Finland.
Roots Collection
Story behind
As the name of the collection may suggest, Roots is a part of me. Roots tells my story, a story of my roots. I grew up in Finland. My father is a Swedish Finn. My grandmother lived in the USA for as long, as I can remember. All this has affected my life and I feel that my childhood was largely spent in between the three cultures. Finland is my homeland. The Finnish-Swedish culture is filled with its own old and strong traditions. American culture in its turn is largely about believing in the future, about daring to do things, about being international and very optimistic, which I find very important especially in our times.
The dresses in this collection have been designed for big church weddings, as well as small and intimate weddings at the City Hall. The fabrics of all gowns are of premium quality, which makes them reusable. I have used luxurious silks, and now, for the first time also viscose.
Why do I use silk in my creations? Because silk has a unique and rare shine to it, it feels wonderful on your skin, it breathes in hot temperatures and warms you in cool weather. Personally, I do not know of any other fabric that would be of as excellent quality as silk; simply the best for one's most important day in life. A gown made of silk can also be dyed after the wedding day, and thus be used more than just once. Why viscose then? - you may ask. Because I was on a lookout for an alternative for my clients. Something that would be as close to silk in texture, as possible, but would offer my clients a less expensive option. Viscose is a regenerated fiber made of cellulose. It is also a breathable fabric, it shines beautifully and in my opinion is the best alternative for a wedding day gown, alongside with silk. The entire collection has been designed in Finland and every single piece of this collection is handmade in Finland.
Temptations Collection
Story behind
This collection was primarily designed keeping in mind body positivity. The name of the collection represents the bride`s wish to be as beautiful and as seductive as possible on her wedding day.
The idea behind the collection is to highlight female beauty in all its shapes and sizes. We all have parts in our bodies that we do not like that much, but luckily it is the overall appearance that counts. Personally, I think that body positivity means accepting your own body regardless of it's size-big or small. Other people view us as a whole and they see our best parts. The target of this collection is to get the bride to feel as beautiful, sexy and as self-confident as possible on her wedding day.
All dresses are meant to get the bride feel absolutely perfect on her wedding day, focusing on beautiful face and bringing out the overall appearance in the best possible light. When the best parts of the body are reconised, it is possible to highlight them. It is important to feel confident on one's wedding day, and forget all the self-critique one may have. After all, your partner has chosen you just the way you are.
The dresses from this collection are all made of the high quality silk, starting from the outer fabric all the way to the linings of the dresses. I have also used embroidered fabrics of the highest quality. The dresses are all hand-tailored and thus unique. The entire collection has been designed in Finland and every single piece of this collection is handmade in Finland.
Shine Collection
Story behind
Shine Collection, my first collection. I design the collection, in Florida, US, at my grandparents’ home. It was exactly the right place for design the collection. My own style is quite simple and minimalistic. I have, however, inspired by the American style, added a dash of golden details to my collection. The gowns are created of silk from linings to top fabrics. The collection is a mix of Finnish Scandinavian style with a dash of American bling. It was designed with love, in a place very dear to me.
When I established my company, the idea of my own collection was born. However, my beloved family needed me a lot during that time, which is why designing a collection needed to be postponed. My lovely grandmother was in the US and was living her very last days. I prioritised my agenda, and spent as much time in the US, as I possibly could. Those years taught me a lot. I got familiarised with a new culture, gotten to know absolutely wonderful people, enjoyed sunshine and felt the love of a dear persons, not forgetting the countless stories about the life and love of my dear grandma and grandpa. When two people have spent 70 years together, there is no shortage of stories to be told. But even more important than the stories themselves, were the hand holdings, the I love you's, and the loving glances my grandparents granted each other until the very last moments.
The idea of collection is that the clothes are simple and timeless. All clothes are available in standard women size and made to measure. You can get a dress that actually fits. All pieces of my collection are 100% pure silk inside out. Why? Because silk is the most beautiful, it feels so good on skin and it's a natural fiber. As silk can be dyed in other colors as well, it means, that after the wedding you can use your wedding dress as an evening dress.
